MMAAH & Wolt asked for a pitch. Studio Avanti answered.
When MMAAH and their exclusive delivery partner Wolt asked for a pitch, we responded with the whole package. A hyper-local campaign strategy to conquer every district of Berlin, paired with a modern upgrade to the design and topped off with classic Studio Avanti loud & proud messaging – geonbae.
With 10 years of barbecue experience, this company already had its name in the game, but not much of a character that we would call a brand. So we sat down with the two founders, Sebastian and Andreas. We came up with a concept that translated their story of heat and beef into a flaming hot corporate design with a roasty tone of voice, wrapped in a hyper-local Berlin campaign to position them as a Korean fast food player.
With a one-day production and a diverse cast, we created a visual language that emphasizes the brand’s Korean heritage and the fact that MMAAH’s food is made for anyone curious about the taste of Korea.
Sometimes, when a brand has a good foundation, we don’t have to reinvent every single element of the brand. We reduce and then carefully add as much magic sauce as necessary until the right amount of spice is reached.
