Your new job:

We are looking for a new Head of Design! You like to redefine standards, break with the common and quality in design is always your biggest driver? You are an art director and a designer at the same time and you can tell the difference? You love creating brands and designs of all kinds? You always have one eye on the bigger picture and the other one on every detail? Creating CI-Guides is a no-brainer for you? Great! Then we have a job for you! As the Head of Design at Studio Avanti you will be a quality gate and the guide for our small but hungry creation department and freelance-teams. Also you have the possibility to keep growing with us as a company and continuously develop the creation department at Studio Avanti.

What will you do?:

Be the bouncer for our quality gate.

  • Development of communication strategies and concepts
  • Translation of the concept into creative solutions
  • Leadership of the creation team
  • Bringing strategy, concept and creation together in presentations
  • Representing brand strategies in coordination with the (Executive) Creative Director 
  • Supporting productions including quality management: shootings, shoots, print productions, other production-related topics
  • Definition of the scope of services and timings for offers in consultation with CSD / CSM
  • Creation of creative and process-related goals in briefings for the team and clients
  • Responsible for supervision and monitoring of the actual design processes including feedback, timing and corrections
  • Contact person for clients in all matters concerning creative services
  • Continuous review and improvement of working methods and processes

Your Profile

  • Studies or training in the field of design/communication 
  • At least 5 years of (agency) experience in the field of brand experience / design / brand communication / communication in space 
  • You have excellent design skills and a feel for the latest trends and are always discovering them 
  • You are enthusiastic about holistic brand stagings
  • Your strong communication skills, ability to work in a team and organizational talent help you to work independently and in a results-oriented manner.
